Installation
Download
- Go to the latest release
- Under Assets, click
ClipKit.zipto download - Open your Downloads folder and double-click
ClipKit.zipto unzip - Drag
ClipKit.appinto your Applications folder - Double-click to launch
macOS Gatekeeper
If macOS says "ClipKit can't be opened", go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.
Updating
- Quit ClipKit if it's running (right-click the dock icon > Quit)
- Download the new
ClipKit.zipfrom Releases - Unzip and drag
ClipKit.appto Applications - Click Replace when prompted
- Launch the updated app
Your data is safe
Pinned items and settings are stored in ~/Library/Application Support/, not inside the app. Updating or reinstalling ClipKit will never delete your saved items.

Permissions
ClipKit may request the following permissions:
